Is it possible to use exhaust gas recirculation for air cooled engine?

if it is possible , tell about the egr cooler for air cooled engine? as egr cooler is a liquid cooled how can we use for air cooled engines?|||The EGR cooler is like a small radiator that cools the exhaust gasses so that when they reenter the intake manifold of the engine they are not so hot that it harms the intake system of the engine, or burns out the bearings of a turbo or overheats the engine (the ford 6.0l diesel comes to mind).

Since you have an air cooled engine you will have to have an air to air EGR cooler.

If you want to have an air to water cooler you are going to have to install some sort of cooling system just for the EGR cooler and nothing else. The engine will still be air cooled.

So yes it is possible to have an EGR system on an air cooled engine and there are most likely some out there especially farm equipment running new air cooled Deutz engines.
